Painting, Vinyl and Wallpaper On walls

Clients may customize the walls of their pop-up space with paint, vinyl, or wallpaper, subject to approval and installation guidelines.

Vinyl and Wallpaper

• All vinyl or wallpaper installations must be approved in advance by the Parasol Production team.
• Only low-tack vinyl or removable wallpaper may be used.
• Installation must be handled by a professional installation team to prevent damage to the walls.

Additional Security Deposit

• Any large or full-wall murals, vinyls and wallpaper installation requires an additional $2,000 security deposit.
• This deposit will be returned in full after checkout if the walls are restored properly and no damage is found.

Painting the Space

Parasol Projects can assist with painting the interior walls or exterior of the space. Please contact the Production team for an estimate.

While we prefer that painting be handled by our team, clients may hire their own professional painters to paint the interior walls with prior approval.

If painting the space yourself:

• Please ensure the work is completed to a professional standard
• All surrounding surfaces must be properly protected
• Spray paint and textured paints are not permitted
• At the end of your pop-up, you are required to hire Parasol Projects to repaint the space back to white to ensure consistent quality standards for future tenants.

Wall Condition

• Minor scratches, small nail holes, or light patching are acceptable.
• Large peeling areas, adhesive damage, or wall damage requiring significant repair like skim coating may result in charges or forfeiture of part of the security deposit.
