Can I Install Carpet or Other Flooring?
Yes! Temporary flooring can be installed in our spaces, provided it can be removed without damaging or leaving residue on the existing floor.
Flooring Guidelines
- Event carpeting, area rugs, and carpet tiles are permitted and should be secured with appropriate removable tape rather than drilling.
- Low-tack floor vinyl or adhesive flooring may be permitted with prior approval. Please send us the material and installation method in advance.
- Only low-residue, removable adhesives suitable for the existing flooring may be used.
- All flooring, tape, adhesive, and residue must be fully removed at checkout, with the original floor restored to its prior condition.
- Drilling or mechanical fastening into the floor is not permitted.
Security Deposit
Installations involving full-floor vinyl, adhesive applications, or other flooring treatments require an additional $2,000 refundable security deposit.
The deposit will be returned following checkout once the flooring has been inspected and confirmed to be restored to its original condition. Any necessary repair, residue removal, or restoration may be deducted from the deposit.
Please share your flooring material and installation method with the Parasol team before installation so we can confirm approval and any applicable deposit requirements.
This article is a general summary for convenience only. The executed Parasol Projects License Agreement governs in all cases.
