Intended Use of Toilets & Plumbing
Toilets and plumbing fixtures in Parasol spaces are intended primarily for staff use.
Customers may be permitted to use the toilets; however, customer usage goes beyond normal intended use of the space.
As a result:
- Any damage, blockages, stoppages, or plumbing issues caused by customer use are the client’s responsibility
- Repair costs will be charged to the client and may be deducted from the security deposit
Proper Use Requirements
Bathrooms, sinks, and plumbing fixtures must only be used for their intended purpose.
Do not dispose of:
- Paper towels
- Feminine hygiene products
- Wipes (including “flushable” wipes)
- Food or liquids
- Chemicals, oils, or solvents
Client Responsibility
Clients are responsible for:
- Monitoring bathroom use during operating hours
- Preventing misuse by staff, vendors, or customers
- Promptly notifying Parasol of any plumbing issues
Failure to report issues immediately may result in additional damage and increased repair costs.
Enforcement
Plumbing issues resulting from misuse may lead to:
- Immediate repair at the client’s expense
- Partial or full security deposit deductions
- Temporary suspension of customer bathroom access
